Bethany served free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks to the La Porte Community on the 4th of July during the parade.When a volunteer was asked by someone waiting in line why the church was giving away food, the Bethany volunteer replied, "Because we love La Porte!"
Any donations given are going to be used for improvements to Trinity Park where the picnic was held.
